WGS - What It Can Do for You and Your Church
WGS takes a four fold approach to Scripture. It focuses on Truth, Life Change, Worldview, and Story.
Truth - At the center of everything is truth - the truth about God, humanity, Jesus of Nazareth, our eternal destiny, and the destiny of the world. Truth exists and can be known.
Life Change - God provides us with His truth to change our lives, our families, our communities, and our world.
Worldview - God's Word answers the big questions that every religion and philosophy asks, Where did we come from? Why are we here? What is the problem with the world and with people? Is there a solution to the injustices in the world? Where are we headed? The way we answer these big questions determines our view of the world, or, our worldview.
Story - God's word is full of stories of drama, tragedy, and joy. But these short stories are all part of a Bigger Story, the theme of the Bible. WGS focuses on teaching people the Big Story, how we can fit our lives into it, and play a meaningful role in God's plan.
